Who are the 6 Best Caravan (YouTube) Channels to watch in Australia?
1 Our Reality Travels
Our Reality Travels is a popular YouTube channel run by Brent and Kel. Together with their baby, Bear, and their dog, Jazz, they live in their caravan full-time.
The young family set up their Caravan YouTube Channel with the intention of inspiring others as well as creating and saving the memories they make for themselves in the form of compact videos.
Their home on wheels is a Jayco Caravan and they use a Toyota Landcruiser to tow it.
Brent and Kel decided to go caravanning full-time because they hated the feeling of a holiday coming to an end – don’t we all know it! And now they are living their dream and show us what Australia has to offer on their YouTube channel.
For those of you who are always on the hunt for new destinations in Australia, Brent and Kel do not keep the hidden gems they find secret. Head to their channel to find out about some off-grid (and free of charge) camping places which offer some awesome views.
Besides this, Our Reality Travels tells us about some personal must-haves when planning caravan travels as well as how to do it all with a baby.

2 Travelling Campers
Meet Josh and Mikayla! They are the couple behind the Caravan YouTube channel Travelling Campers. Together with their golden retriever, Jorja, they live and travel full-time in a very modern-looking Lotus caravan.
To tow their home and to go on off-road adventures from time to time, they use a Nissan Y62 Patrol. To get to remote destinations, they definitely make use of their Y62 Patrol which allows them to drive on rugged tracks. Josh and Mikayla do not shy away from a challenging drive! Like many others, the couple has the advantage of being able to work remotely from anywhere in the world – as long as they have a good Internet connection.
They follow and live by the mantra “Don’t live to work, work to live!”. At the moment, the couple enjoys absolute freedom and flexibility as they do not have a planned return date. Head to their Caravan YouTube Channel to see what gear the Travelling Campers recommends using, what tips and tricks they have to share and what their personal favourite destinations across Australia are.
Thanks to their many years of caravanning experience in Australia, their videos include heaps of valuable advice! Luckily for us, they promise to upload a new video every Sunday.

5 Trip In A Van – RoadTrip Australia Series
Justin and Bec as well as their 3 children, Jack, Billy and Charli, started their big lap of Australia back in 2016. Initially, they packed up their home and sold everything they owned back in 2015 with the intention of travelling for one year.
6 years have passed since then and they are still travelling full-time! Back in 2016, they started their Caravan YouTube channel Trip In A Van with the aim of sharing their travels on the platform. In their videos, the couple goes into detail on a lot of caravan-related topics, for instance, what gear they use and what their personal necessities are for going off-road (such as their off-grid battery system).
Their Dual Cab 200 tows their Desert Storm Caravan and takes them to some awesome remote destinations. For all their viewers who drive the same vehicles, they have uploaded some helpful videos on their YouTube channel on how to set them up so they are ideally suited for long trips.
Justin and Bec also share any tips and insider information that they might have with their viewers and get very honest with what to realistically expect when you choose the caravanning lifestyle.
What we particularly appreciate is that they break down their budgeting too, so that we can get a good idea of what it costs to go caravanning in Australia.
Head over to Trip In A Van’s YouTube channel where you’ll get to follow the family of 5 on their journey. A new video is uploaded every Sunday night.

6 Our Australia Trip
The Caravan YouTube channel Our Australia Trip is in its’ early beginnings. It’s run by Hayley and Brad who are both in their mid 20s and have been planning their big lap of Australia and saving up for it for 4 years.
Now, they are finally ready to hit the road for an indefinite time as full-time travellers. Head over to their channel to follow them on their journey from the onset. In the course of their preparation they visited a caravan expo in 2020 and were surprised by how much there is to learn and to know about caravanning before actually heading off. That is partly why they decided to share their preparation in detail on their YouTube channel.
Their current mobile home is a Kredon XC3 caravan which they tow in a 79 series Landcruiser. We’re curious to see where their caravanning journey will take them!
